Pariah Burke, Sally Cox and Steve Dolan present this webinar as a solution for those taking the leap into the ebook, e-magazine, and e-catalog domain. “’Print’ and ‘publishing’ no longer mean just ink on paper,” says Burke, a 20-year publishing and graphic workflow expert. “Publishing professionals need to embrace that concept in order to stay relevant, to stay employable.”

In two six-hour sessions, you will learn to create ebooks and rich media e-publications from a variety of the most popular software applications, including Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Apple Pages and QuarkXPress. Edit and control formatting using Cascading Style Sheets, export to any of the popular ebook formats. Add graphics and hyperlinks to keep the reader engaged. Learn the difference between ePUB, PDF and Flash formats, and get tips on choosing the right one for your e-publication.

Once you have created your digital publications, you will need to market them. Day Two of this webinar shows you how to obtain an ISBN or ASN number, market your ebook or e-magazine, use the new Amazon plug-in for Adobe InDesign to directly export ebooks to Kindle, and get your publications onto the iPad, Android devices, BlackBerry PlayBook and into the ebook libraries of Apple’s iBooks,, and more.

The first scheduled ePublishing Workflow Webinar is scheduled for January 12 & 13, 2011. 2-day event tickets are $199 per person until January 1, 2011, and $249 per person thereafter. Ticket sales are processed via Event Brite (

The Webinar will be delivered to attendees at their offices or homes via an Adobe Connect Pro online meeting room. Attendees have the choice of audio participation via computer speakers and microphone or telephone conferencing.

Attendance is limited to 100 to ensure that each attendee is given proper attention.
