Announcing the ePublishing Workflow Webinar

In two six-hour ses­sions, you will learn to cre­ate ebooks and rich me­dia e-publications from a va­ri­ety of the most pop­u­lar soft­ware ap­pli­ca­tions, in­clud­ing Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Apple Pages and QuarkXPress. Edit and con­trol for­mat­ting us­ing Cascading Style Sheets, ex­port to any of the pop­u­lar ebook for­mats. Add graph­ics and hy­per­links to keep the read­er en­gaged. Learn the dif­fer­ence be­tween ePUB, PDF and Flash for­mats, and get tips on choos­ing the right one for your e-publication.

Once you have cre­at­ed your dig­i­tal pub­li­ca­tions, you will need to mar­ket them. Day Two of this we­bi­nar shows you how to ob­tain an ISBN or ASN num­ber, mar­ket your ebook or e-magazine, use the new Amazon plug-in for Adobe InDesign to di­rect­ly ex­port ebooks to Kindle, and get your pub­li­ca­tions on­to the iPad, Android de­vices, BlackBerry PlayBook and in­to the ebook li­braries of Apple’s iBooks, Amazon​.com, and more.

Dates and Tickets

The first sched­uled ePub­lish­ing Workflow Webinar is sched­uled for January 12 & 13, 2011. 2-day event tick­ets are $199 per per­son un­til January 1, 2011, and $249 per per­son there­after. Ticket sales are processed via Event Brite (http://​epub​work​flow​.eventbrite​.com).

The Webinar will be de­liv­ered to at­ten­dees at their of­fices or homes via an Adobe Connect Pro on­line meet­ing room. Attendees have the choice of au­dio par­tic­i­pa­tion via com­put­er speak­ers and mi­cro­phone or tele­phone conferencing.

Attendance is lim­it­ed to 100 to en­sure that each at­tendee is giv­en prop­er attention.

With 20 years ex­pe­ri­ence in all as­pects of de­sign, pub­lish­ing, and ad­ver­tis­ing, he is a de­sign and pub­lish­ing work­flow ex­pert bring­ing cre­ative ef­fi­cien­cy in­to stu­dios, agen­cies, and pub­li­ca­tions around the world as train­er, con­sul­tant, au­thor, and pub­lish­er.
