Free plugins provide for auto-activation of fonts included in InDesign CS2 documents for InDesign version 4.0.1.

From the Press Release:
“
PORTLAND, Ore. – (Extensis.com) – September 22, 2005 – Extensis, a division of Celartem, Inc., today announced that it is now offering free Suitcase and Font Reserve plug-ins for Adobe InDesign CS2 that automatically activates fonts used in InDesign documents. The plug-ins ensure that anytime an InDesign CS2 file is opened, the exact fonts used in the file are automatically activated.
”
The latest update of InDesign CS2–being version 4.0.1–no longer supports global font auto-activation, so these plugins are essential for Suitcase and FontReserve users with InDesign.

fontexplorerX seems to work fine in the CS 2 upgrade, I have defected to it in production for about a week now, both for print and web design.
