The Cloud! The term is every­where, but what is the Cloud? More impor­tant­ly, what can the Cloud do for you at work, at home, and on the go?

This course will answer those ques­tions and more. You will learn what the Cloud is and isn’t, and then how you can use Cloud-based ser­vices to share, col­lab­o­rate on, back­up, and sync every type of file to any device you own–Windows, Mac OSX, iPad, Android tablets, smart­phones, and more. You’ll also learn about ser­vices and apps to cre­ate notes, book­marks, anno­ta­tions, sketch­es, and more that live exclu­sive­ly in the Cloud. You’ll learn tech­niques for inte­grat­ing social media with Cloud-based ser­vices to auto­mate file shar­ing and liking/loving, and how to go the oth­er way–automatically sav­ing pho­tos, videos, and oth­er media shared with you or in which you’re tagged from Facebook, Flickr, and more.

At the end of this course you will have all the tools you need to build a strat­e­gy to pro­tect, share, and col­lab­o­rate on any type of content–on your com­put­er or in the Cloud–and ways to ensure you nev­er lose files to sys­tem crash­es or stolen devices.
