InCopy for Writers and Editors

Adobe InCopy is a professional word processing application made by Adobe Systems. The InDesign desktop publishing software is primarily used to publish newspapers and magazines; the InCopy component, whether integrated or standalone, is used primarily by editors.

InCopy allows the editor to write, edit, and design the publishable copy. The software includes standard word processing features such as spell check, change tracking, and word count, and has preview viewing modes for fitting copy to the text layout, allowing the editor to visually ascertain that every design element fits in the publication layout format used.
