Markzware Announces InDesign to QuarkXPress 7 (ID2Q) for Windows

PRESS RELEASE

Markzware, developer of preflighting, data extraction and conversion software, is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the conversion utility ID2Q7, InDesign To QuarkXPress for versions 6.x through 7 for Windows.

ID2Q7 is an XTension that easily and effectively converts Adobe InDesign files (v1.5 through 4.x) into QuarkXPress v6.x or 7 documents with a single click. The conversion process includes elements of the documents such as object positions, colors, fonts, text attributes, images, etc. Additionally, ID2Q also converts between cross-platform files; for instance converting PC InDesign files to Mac QuarkXPress and vice versa.

Quark is thrilled to see the availability of a tool that converts files from InDesign to QuarkXPress. Customer demand for such an application speaks to the continued strength and ubiquity of QuarkXPress in the marketplace,” said Scott Allan, director of marketing. “The Windows version of ID2Q solves complex problems for many designers in repurposing content and salvaging projects that were created in InDesign.”

Markzware is pleased to release this brand new product. There is much demand for migrating content to and from InDesign and QuarkXPress. Re-creating documents from scratch is costly and this new ID2Q for QuarkXPress on the Windows platform will further ease data transitioning,” said Patrick Marchese, president of Markzware.

The MSRP of ID2Q7 is $199 and currently available for Macintosh and Window users. Additional ID2Q product information can be found at http://www.markzware.com/ID2Q and can be purchased online at http://markzware.com/store_usa/ .
