Quark Releases QuarkXPress 7.2 Updater

Quark has announced the avail­abil­i­ty of the QuarkXPress® 7.2 updater. This down­load, free to cur­rent QuarkXPress 7 users, pro­vides enhanced fea­tures in:

  • Job Jacketsâ„¢ can now be built from a lay­out eval­u­a­tion dia­log box, amongst oth­er improvements.
  • Improved flat­ten­ing, includ­ing vec­tor objects, drop shad­ows, and blends
  • The Color Management Module now sup­ports Kodak®‘s new CMM that includes black point compensation
  • Support for the XPert Tools Pro XTensionsâ„¢ module
  • New sup­port for Microsoft Windows® Vistaâ„¢

It also address­es a host of known issues.

The Update requires that the user is run­ning QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport 7.01 or 7.02, and can be down­loaded from Quark’s site via this link.
