DENVER – November 6, 2006 – Raymond Schiavone, Quark’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, will welcome OEM and System Integrators to the company’s new training facility for discussion of enterprise products.

Quark Inc. announced today that it is taking the wraps off its new training facility at its Denver headquarters when more than 50 partners will attend a conference on Quark’s latest offerings in the enterprise technology space.

“We’ve embraced a new spirit of innovation at Quark,” said Richard Pasewark, senior vice president of sales (Americas) and marketing. “We’ve developed and released innovative products. We’ve worked hard to support our channel partners. We’re moving in positive directions.”

Quark’s OEM and System Integrator Conference will run November 8 ‑10. The event will feature special guest speakers and thought leaders from various industries to provide their perspectives on the evolving publishing paradigm. Partner appearances will include Apple Computer Inc., Canon USA Inc., FileMaker Inc., Hewlett-Packard Company Inc., InfoTrends and third party XTensions developers.

The three day long event will include messages for different stakeholders. The conference has been divided into two distinct tracks that will deliver crucial information specifically targeted to help partner success. The business track will help participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Quark sales and marketing programs to drive sales in the dynamic publishing solutions market. The technical track will provide in-depth insight on how partners can create unique products and client solutions with Quark technology.

“Our goal is to ensure that our partners are well-equipped with meaningful technical and market knowledge along with the trust that Quark stands behind them,” said Doug Liles, Strategic Business Development Manager at Quark.

Quark has been working with OEM developers and system integrators in order to address the needs of specific customers. Quark’s partnership program involves developers that create and support effective solutions powered by QuarkXPress Server 7.

QuarkXPress Server 7 combines the design power and collaboration functionality of QuarkXPress with proven server-based performance to help software developers and system integrators meet end customer demands.

About QuarkXPress Server
QuarkXPress Server is the application technology formerly known as Quark Dynamic Document Server (QuarkDDS). The new name more accurately reflects the product’s core QuarkXPress design-and-print functionality in addition to its integration and automation capabilities. Quark system integrator and OEM partners have already deployed this technology in many production environments. References to these applications include solutions deployed under both names: QuarkDDS and QuarkXPress Server.
