QuarkXPress 7 Beta Program Coming To A Close

Public Beta 2 about to time out, but Mac OS X Users will have a Universal Binary to test.

Announced via email to program participants today, the QuarkXPress 7 Public Beta 2 is set to time-bomb tomorrow, Tuesday 2 May 2006. On Wednesday, 3 May, the QuarkXPress public beta test phase will offically close, except for Mac OS X users. According to Quark’s email, a Universal Binary Public Beta 1 is scheduled to be posted (at the time of this posting it has not yet been mounted).

Files created with the betas will be usable in the final release version of QuarkXPress 7, and can also be used in XPress 6 if exported using the menuing sequence File > Export > Layouts as Project and selecting QuarkXPress 6.0 as the output format.
