The InDesign Plug-In We Gave Away This Time

InDesign Plug-In from Slendro

The plug-in gen­er­ates and dis­plays mea­sure­ments for any box with­in an InDesign doc­u­ment, includ­ing text, pic­ture and unas­signed ³none² boxes.
GeometryReporter is capa­ble of gen­er­at­ing the fol­low­ing mea­sure­ments (each on their own layer):

- Intra-box mea­sure­ments, which are mea­sure­ments of a box from edge to edge.

- Extra-box mea­sure­ments, which are mea­sure­ments from box to page edge.

- Inter-box gaps, which are mea­sure­ments between sep­a­rate boxes.

Measurements are gen­er­at­ed accord­ing to what the ³Units & Increments² Preferences of the InDesign doc­u­ment are set to. If the doc­u­ment is set up in picas, then the Plug-In will gen­er­ate mea­sure­ments in picas, if the doc­u­ment is set up using inch­es, the Plug-In will gen­er­ate mea­sure­ments in inch­es, etc.

GeometryReporter is also capa­ble of gen­er­at­ing labels for the Images placed in the document.
