Improved con­trol of pic­ture files and paths for QuarkXPress 7 documents

The stor­age loca­tion of your pic­ture files has changed? There are dif­fer­ent ver­sions of your pic­tures in the network?

PictureXTracker search­es fold­ers or vol­umes for all pic­ture files relat­ed to one or sev­er­al QuarkXPress doc­u­ments. Even com­plex file sys­tems are effi­cient­ly searched for pic­ture data. PictureXTracker pro­vides var­i­ous option­al set­tings, such as for whether file suf­fix­es are to be tak­en into account or not or the search is to be case sen­si­tive, or whether the file used for assign­ment should always be the one with the lat­est date. If the pic­ture exists any­where in the select­ed direc­to­ry sys­tem, PictureXTracker will find it and present it to the user with all the sta­tus infor­ma­tion like file type, loca­tion, size, colour mod­el, dimen­sion and a pre­view of the pic­ture. If PictureXTracker finds sev­er­al pic­tures with the same name in the searched direc­to­ries dur­ing the search process, the user will indi­vid­u­al­ly decide which pic­ture file is to be valid.

PictureXTracker loads the select­ed pic­tures into the doc­u­ment, and your doc­u­ment is up to date again!
Reassignment can even be car­ried out for all open doc­u­ments at once.

PictureXTracker allows you to replace com­plete or par­tial pic­ture paths with oth­ers. By using Macintosh or Windows path sep­a­ra­tors, even the plat­form can be changed if required.
PictureXTracker becomes an essen­tial tool in han­dling QuarkXPress doc­u­ments as well as the relat­ed pic­tures in chang­ing or mul­ti­ple work environments.
