Press Release:
NEW YORK –(Quark Inc.)–May 23, 2006 announced today that the QuarkXPress 7 launch event features 12 partners representing complementary design, publishing, and print technologies. The companies that are supporting the QuarkXPress 7 launch include Canto, Creo, Em, Extensis, GLUON, GretagMacbeth, onOne Software, Meadows Publishing Solutions, Pantone, and SRDS. In addition to the participation of these leading companies in the launch of QuarkXPress 7, almost 200 XTensions software developers have committed to release new software that supports this powerful upgrade for design and publishing professionals.
“We are pleased that so many of our top partners can be here today to celebrate the launch of QuarkXPress 7,” said Richard Pasewark, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Quark. “We value these strategic relationships and are encouraged that industry-leading companies are creating and delivering complementary hardware and software to this great new release of QuarkXPress. This is truly a collaborative effort to provide customers with the most complete desktop publishing environment.”
The QuarkAlliance program includes many market-leading technology companies in the design and publishing industry. By adding their support to QuarkXPress 7 with innovative technologies in the areas of color, font management, page automation, digital-asset management, prepress, and ad workflow, QuarkAlliance partners are helping QuarkXPress 7 users achieve faster creative development and print production.
“We are honored to be an invited exhibitor at the launch of QuarkXPress 7,” said John Kriho, president of Meadows Publishing Solutions, an XTensions software developer for both QuarkXPress and Quark Dynamic Document Server (QuarkDDS). “As a key QuarkAlliance partner, we are eager to promote our long-running relationship with Quark and their customers.
